August ASB REPORT
Position assessment: As Senior Class Publicity officer I have been a lot busier than I have in past years and I love it. I helped design the senior class merch and attended pow wow to start the presale of our merch with my fellow class officers. The other officers and I planned senior sunrise where we designed t-shirts, sold them, and had a tie dye party for the senior class. We bought waters, donuts, and biodegradable balloons for the event. The day before Senior Sunrise we blew up roughly 80 balloons and transported them to Mistlin the next day where as a class we set intentions of what we want for the upcoming school year while holding the balloons and then released them into the sky. Senior sunrise was an amazing turn out and I loved the new changes we made, while also keeping traditions alive. The officer team also met with Mr. Yonan today during lunch to discuss all things disney trip, it was very successful and we can not wait. For my own personal job I have been loving running the class account. I know for my future job I would love to be some sort of content manager so being able to get almost a hands on experience and running an account right now has been awesome and so much fun. I totally changed the appearance of the class account and am trying to make it more interactive and keep a consistent theme. I just made a reel today and it already has received over 1K views in 4 hours which is amazing considering we only have 400 followers on the account. I can’t wait to keep making new and exciting content for the account.
Standing Committee: After three years of writing, “Unfortunately I am not apart of a standing committee…” I can finally say that I am now apart of a standing committee. I am apart of the Signs Committee, where the senior class officers put the signs out front everytime there is a big event at the school for example, the first week of school we put the signs out that said, “welcome back” It’s a lot of fun doing signs the only set back is we all opt out first so we go, leave, than come back but it’s really not that big of a deal.
Special committee: Right now there are not too many special committees occurring, but I know a lot are coming up that I will be participating in. I also will be bringing a case of water for the back to school dance, if you’d like to consider that a committee.
Mentorship evaluation: Emme is my mentor this year and I am so excited because we have a lot in common but we also have a lot that we can learn from each other which I really appreciate. Payton asked the class to send her a picture of our mentors contact in order to show we are staying in touch with each other. I completed that assignment and Emme and I are already planning a time we can both go to lunch together. I am very excited for what is to come with the mentorship system especially with all of payton’s great ideas.
Concerns/change: One change I would like to see is being more unified as a class. I know it’s early in the year but I think we could work towards this by treating everyone equally and not making it seem like others are more deserving to be in the program or do a better job in the program. I believe a lot of the people in this program have great ideas and the potential to do great things, they just need someone to really believe they can and as a class we can do that by not comparing each other because we all have really great characteristics and all of those characteristics look different.
Positive comment: I would like to give my positive comment to Colt Isham. He brings so much positivity to the classroom, I seriously love his energy and enthusiasm towards the program. He is so funny but he also knows when it is time to be quiet and he knows how to respect the classroom which I really appreciate!
Core principles: I feel I have embodied the core principles thus far by reminding others and myself that our puzzle pieces matter. I believe we are all in this program together as a whole but we have so many talents that make this program work perfect and everyone is needed and I really want to make sure the class feels this way. I think I could work on be impeccable. Honestly this core principle kind of intimidates me because I feel like it means be perfect, but I know it doesn’t, I know it just means to follow through and be great at what you do. I feel as if I do try but there is always room fro improvement.
My impact: I feel as if I have impacted the campus by simply sharing a friendly greeting or smile with those around me on campus. As we start the new school year I really want to make sure I have a friendly smile on my face so everyone feels welcomed. I want to make sure I don’t get too caught up in my own life and forget to come off friendly to those around me. I feel as if I have been doing a really good job at this so far this year though!

September Asb report
Position Assessment: During the month of September, me and the other senior class officers have been very busy preparing for homecoming. In the beginning of September we got all of our shirts ordered and started planning what we wanted our float to look like and thinking of ideas for our window, lemonade stand, and lip sync dance. Once we were set on how we wanted to design we filled out POs and ordered all of the items. Our Senior Merchandise came in, and all of the senior officers came in during first and second period to take inventory. I made a post publicizing that the merch had come in and that we will be passing out said items Wednesday in the foyer after the rally. The seniors in leadership also went to every senior advisory class this month to explain how to sign up for the Disneyland trip. Personally, this month I have been making lots and lots of spirit counts posts and I completed the spirit board.
Standing Committee: I am apart of the signs standing committee, but for the month of September we didn’t need to use the signs for anything. With that being said next week, for October, we will be putting out the signs every morning for homecoming.
Special Committee: I am apart of the publicity special committee where Jenna will be sending me homecoming posts and I will send them to Morty to post. I also am filling in for the rally and Jenna asked me to come up with songs for the fashion show. I have already come up with the songs and I have sent them to Spencer.
Mentorship evaluation: During the month of September, Emme and I got together and came up with a list of goals we have for this school year, we then sent them in to Payton. I have really enjoyed being mentors with Emme. She has become like a little sister to me and I am so happy I can guide her and help her through high school.
Concerns/change: A change I would like to see is to find away for the class to talk to new people. There are so many new people this year in leadership and I feel like I have barely gotten the chance to talk to any of them. This is partly my fault and it’s hard because of the classroom conditions but it would be cool if we could find a way to make up some sort of seating chart or something along those lines.
Positive comment: I would like to give my positive comment to Emme Wilbur. I may be a little bias because I am her mentor, but she has really stepped it up this year. Last year the freshman struggles a little bit, but this year Emme has been super on top of everything and I can see all the hard work she has been putting in especially during homecoming. Emme also always comes into class with a positive attitude which I appreciate a lot.
Core principles: I feel like I have represented the core principle “Evolve and grow with change.” When I first started leadership I kind of stayed to myself and was scared to step up or tell others what to do. I still don’t love telling people what to do all the time, but I have become a lot more confident and I have grown in the aspect of leadership. I am a lot more involved in leadership and I feel like I have stepped up a lot. I know I still have a lot to learn and I know there is always room for improvement and growth and I am very excited to see where I will be by the end of the school year with all the progress I have made along with the other students in leadership.
My impact: The impact that I feel that I have made here at Ripon High is trying to be friends with everyone. In some of my classes there are people that have a lot of different interests than I do but I have been making sure to go out of my way to talk to these people and learn more about their hobbies and interest. I know that some people may perceive me as stuck up because I am a pretty confident and loud person to the outside world, but I want those people to know I am actually a very kind and understanding individual and I care a lot about my classmates.

OCT/NOV/DEC ASB report
Position assessment: Over the past three months the officer team and I have been fairly busy. During the end of October we wrapped things up with homecoming and kyoto, and we started planning for Dude be nice. In November we worked on Dude be nice, participated in the Ruby Bridges walk, Hungup leaves for Dude be nice, and finished up our leadership fundraiser. The officers had a meeting with Morty where we discussed the changes that should be made to Winterfest and then we presented it to the class. We have cut out paper for every class early in december while we also worked on all things warm and fuzzy.
Standing Committee: I am apart of the signs special committee. The officers and I put our signs for Dude Be Nice Week and Warm and Fuzzy week. For Dude Be Nice we didn't do the best job at it, so for warm and fuzzy we made sure to set aside certain days for certain people and it was a lot better.
Special Committee: A special committee I was a part of was the committee that wrote letters to the hughson professor and I also was a part of the leaf committee where I assisted the Juniors and wrote down names on the leafs and cut them out.
Mentorship evaluation: These past couple months I have really enjoyed all of the mentor projects that have allowed Emme and I to get even closer than we already are. I feel like we are really good at accomplishing tasks together and it is fun to see our bond grow stronger.
concerns/change: I think things have been going fine in class but a change I could think of would be to make sure that everyone is being held to the same standards and being held accountable just as much as the rest of the class. Making sure that we remember we are all equal and no one is better than anyone else.
Positive Comment: I would like to give my positive comment to Lucia because she has been working so hard with spirit and she is always so extremely positive in class too.
My Impact: I feel as if I could do a better job impacting the class, but it is very hard in the space that we are given. I have been trying to make an impact around school by making sure I am treating everyone equally and treating every single person with respect.

January ASB report
Position assessment: Throughout the month of January my main focus has been Winterfest. The other class officers and I worked very hard this month to redesign how Winterfest works. We worked hard to change the voting style for this event and thought of the different competitions we would do for this event. As publicity officer, I assigned all the other class publicity officers to come up with a unique and different kind of way to publicize the event. I gave them 5 days to complete their publicity. For our class we made a video that had a countdown till winterfest we got a lot of good feedback and all the other classes publicity looked really good as well. I definitely think it was a good way to promote winterfest and hold everyone accountable to their job.
Standing Committee: I am apart of the signs committee this year and for the month of January we were in charge of putting out the signs for winterfest. The senior officers would all text each other and figure out different days that we would put the signs out. We have become pretty efficient with doing this, but this month it was a little harder because the weather was so bad the week we were supposed to put them out.
Special committee:For the month of January I was not apart of a special committee.
Mentorship evaluation: Throughout january Emme and I talked a lot about all things winterfest and we worked on our vision board for the mentor project and it was actually a lot of fun doing it.
Concerns/change: The only concerns I would have is that I think we need to communicate better as a class. There are times when I hear certain things being said that I think need to be addressed one on one rather than letting things get spread around the class which becomes extremely unhealthy.
Positive comment: For my positive comment I would like to give a shout out to Mina he is always so incredibly positive and I have never heard him say one negative thing ever. He brings such a bright light to this program.
Core principles: I feel I have embodied the core principles thus far by reminding others and myself that our puzzle pieces matter. I believe we are all in this program together as a whole but we have so many talents that make this program work perfect and everyone is needed and I really want to make sure the class feels this way.
